Welcome to the Honesty for Ohio Education Coalition representing more than 50 state and national organizational Partners and thousands of Ohioans who believe every child deserves an honest, high-quality education grounded in truth, facts, and diverse perspectives. Honesty Partners commit to upholding the mission, values, pillars, and operations of the Honesty for Ohio Education Coalition.

WE BELIEVE
Every child deserves an honest, high-quality education grounded in truth, facts, and diverse perspective, regardless of race, identity, background, or zip code. Dismissing racism and discrimination, or minimizing its trauma and impact, irrevocably harms individuals and communities, and prevents pathways to reconciliation and healing. Students benefit most when caring families, trained educators, and dedicated school boards work together. Education must reflect and celebrate all student identities, experiences, and cultures to maximize engagement and achievement. Honesty in education is the freedom of critical thinking, reflection, and the diverse exchange of ideas that are essential to Ohio’s future, viability, and high-functioning, multiracial democracy. WE WORK Attend the weekly Honesty Coalition meeting Share and receive information and updates Join an Honesty Working Team Advocacy, Communications, Lobby Council, Local Organizing, Speakers Bureau Join an Honesty Alliance Join an Honesty Alliance that aligns with your expertise and lived experience: Youth, School Board, Anti-Racism and Social Justice, LGBTQ+, Faith, Legal Support Honesty Programs & Events Help facilitate Honesty programming as a contributor, panelist, or subject matter expert WE EDUCATE & INFORM Share Honesty information, updates, and resources within your network and community

WE INVEST
Honesty is immensely grateful for the shared information, talent, expertise, and resources that our Partners bring to the coalition, helping to drive our education, advocacy, and community building. In a needed effort to sustain our work across Ohio, we ask Partners to invest in the infrastructure and operations of the coalition as well. Below are Suggested Partner Contribution Levels and guiding questions to help Partners determine their contribution.
