Have you seen Release Time for Religious Instruction (RTRI) policies and religious recruitment organizations in recent news coverage, or suddenly showing up in your local school district? Have you been following House Bill 445, which would force every local district in Ohio to allow students to be removed from school for religious instruction at any time of the day? Are you concerned some organizations might be able to exploit this in a harmful way?

Join Honesty Teams Network leaders learning about RTRI policies, the way some organizations abuse them, and how to effectively share YOUR VOICE at the Statehouse and local school boards.

UPDATE: Opponent Testimony Hearing on Wed, Nov 15, 10am

Join us to learn about the latest revisions to Senate Bill 83 and how YOU can help stop this destructive educational gag order. Ohio AAUP will break down new updates to the bill and How Things Work at the Statehouse will share best practices and tips for presenting compelling opposition testimony.

SB 83 is a sweeping higher education bill that restricts DEI training, controversial topics, race and gender based majors, worker rights, academic relationships with China, and more. The newer bill includes provisions for faculty retrenchment and retention.  Learn more about SB 83 HERE.
