Honesty School Board Alliance 

​The Honesty School Board Alliance (SBA) is a trusted space for student-centered, equity-focused, value-aligned school board members to build community, learn, and share best practices around honest, inclusive education grounded in Ohio's Whole Child Framework.

SBA meets virtually every second Thursday of the month at 7pm, with additional meetings and skill sharing opportunities scheduled as needed.

Our Goals

1. Create a space for Ohio school board members to make connections and build relationships with fellow board members across Ohio.
2. Share emerging trends, issues, local priorities, and helpful resources.
3. Work together to address common issues using learned skills, best practices, equitable systems, and evidence-based research.

• Champion honest, inclusive, culturally responsive education
• Center Ohio's Whole Child Framework
• Address and dismantle systemic inequities
• Ensure Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging (DEIB) is foundational across all school districts
• Integrate Social Emotional Learning (SEL), restorative practices, trauma-informed care into campus culture
• Fight for fully funded public education
