Honesty Teams work locally and statewide to build what we want and what students deserve in Ohio schools. Together, we are transforming Ohio classrooms into vibrant, nurturing spaces that celebrate all students for who they are and who they dream to become.
What do Honesty Teams do?
Educate communities about the importance of honest education grounded in a Whole Child framework
Work with residents and schools to create inclusive, affirming policies that center student wellness and academic success
Build meaningful relationships with school boards, administration, educators, staff, and community stakeholders
Attend regular school board meetings, school committees, and task forces
Get Out The Vote to promote civic engagement in local elections with a special focus on school board races

Organizing Skill Training Sessions: 3rd Tuesday of the month at noon and 7pm
Want to grow your skills as an advocate and organizer for strong, inclusive schools? Join Honesty Teams every month on the third Tuesday for training on a new skill to build your organizing, your team, and your power!
Leadership Meeting: Last Wednesday of the month at 7pm
Monthly Teams Leadership Meetings are opportunities for local leaders from Ohio's 611 school districts to come together, share experiences, and strategize together on ongoing Teams campaigns—Religious Extremism, Vouchers, 2025 School Board Races.
